A number of us, who were part of the recent visit to La Paz (Keene, CA where Cesar Chavez is buried) and Delano as part of the twenty-first alternative spring break, are joining together with other community friends and organizations to view the Cesar Chavez film together on its first day of showing. In the spirit of building community and support for bringing to center stage those who have contributed to our history but are often excluded in mainstream productions, we invite you to join students, community, friends, family, and members of various community-based organizations to view the Cesar Chavez film together at the Glendora AMC theatre (located at 1337 Gladstone St in Glendora, CA 91740) on Friday, March 28th. The doors will open at 7:20 PM and the movie will begin at 8:15 PM.
You can buy your tickets online at amctheatres.com or at the box office. If you intend to buy your tickets at the box office, please arrive early as we are expecting a long line and it is on a first come, first serve basis. Please invite others. We look forward to seeing you this Friday.
