Pomona City Council Votes in Support of Resolution on 43 students

All seven members of the Pomona city council voted in support of a resolution calling for an independent international investigation into the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa and the prosecution and effective condemnation of those responsible at all levels, in line with international standards of justice. They also voted in support of funding to develop a pilot jobs and services program for day laborer women at the Pomona Day Labor Center.  A big victory and a testament to the history of organizing in Pomona.  Thanks to all the organizers depicted in these pictures.
