Pomona Walk for Justice, Peace, & Equality

The NAACP Pomona Valley Branch, the Latino and Latina Roundtable of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley and other organizations are marching in solidarity with NAACP members in Ferguson, Missouri, who have  set out on a seven-day, 120-mile march  from Ferguson to the Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City.  The march in Pomona is a peaceful march for justice, peace, & equality for all, and against discrimination and police brutality.  (Attached is a leaflet that you can use to invite others)

Friday, December 5, 2014 –  @3:00pm to 6:00pm

Starting point:  Pomona Police Department (Mission Blvd. and Garey Ave.)

March route: Garey Ave. to  Holt Blvd.

End of March:  Indian Hill Mall 

6:30: Showing of the Sundance-Acclaimed and award-winning Film “Cesar’s Last Fast” in the Village theatre (1460 E. Holt Ave.)
