Invitation to People Called to Action March & Rally – Sat., June 25 – lining up at 10 am

The Latino and Latina Roundtable has endorsed the “People Called to Action March & Rally” (see attached flyer) this Saturday beginning with a lining up for the march at 10 AM in front of the Pomona Library (505 S. Garey Ave.).  This March & Rally, led by the Pomona Valley Branch NAACP is part of national actions of the Poor People’s Campaign against structural and systemic injustices (including injustices on issues of housing, immigration, poverty, racism, health care, women and infant mortality, special education, voter suppression, law enforcement, inflation, and the economy).  The LRT will have a banner and core of our members supporting and we ask that you join us.
For those who can join us the day before, we will also meet at the Solidarity Center (1460 E. Holt Ave.) on Friday, June 24 at 2:30 pm to make posters and signs.
