Save the Date: LRT Membership Retreat on Saturday, February 22

Please place in your schedule:  the annual membership retreat is set for Saturday February 22 from 9 am – 4 pm at the Solidarity Center.  At this retreat, Nikki Dominguez will facilitate a report from the board retreat and discuss the vision and mission of the Latino and Latina Roundtable and our strategic plan. At the same time, we will discuss the successes of our work in the last year, the opportunities and threats in this time period, and our priorities in the next year.

THIS IS YOUR INVITATION TO THE ANNUAL LATINO AND LATINA ROUNDTABLE MEMBERSHIP RETREAT THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9 AT THE SOLIDARITY CENTER (1460 E. HOLT AVE. ROOM 6 IN POMONA).  THE MEMBERSHIP RETREAT WILL BEGIN WITH “CAFECITO’ AT 9 AM — A REVIEW OF THE AGENDA AT 9:15 AM, THE WELCOME AT 9: 20 AM.  THE MORNING AGENDA WILL INCLUDE A DISCUSSION ON THE MISSION AND VISION OF LRT, A REVIEW OF THE PROGRAM PRIORITIES (AS TO WHAT WORKED AND WHAT NEEDS TO BE STRENGTHENED), – WITH A LUNCH AT NOON FOR ALL THE MEMBERS AND IN THE AFTERNOON:  A GENDERAL DISCUSSION OF 2019 PRIORITIES, DISCUSSION ON LRT ADMINISTRATION, THE CESAR CHAVEZ BREAKFAST AND HONOREES, AND A REVIEW OF THE 2019 CALENDAR.  PLEASE INVITE OTHERS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR ORGANIZATION.

Latino And Latina Roundtable Retreat, Saturday, February 13th

To members and friends (who have indicated becoming members of the Latino and Latina Roundtable:

This is your invitation our annual Latino and Latina Roundtable retreat that will take place on Saturday, February 13th (beginning with Cafecito and Registration at 9:30 A. M. and with the retreat business starting promptly at 10 A. M.) and ending at 4 PM at the Pitzer College Broad Center, Room 208 (1050 N. Mills Ave. in Claremont.  Morning refreshments and a noon lunch will be available for participants.  As we have done in the past, the members will summarize what was accomplished in the year 2015 and develop priorities/plans and a calendar for 2016.  We are looking forward to having your participation at this most important meeting.  The agenda is as follows:
