This is your invitation to the Latino and Latina Roundtable Membership Meeting this Saturday, July 23 from 1 -3 pm via zoom. Given some of the increases in covid cases, the membership meeting will be virtual and hope that the next one can be face-to-face or hybrid. Given that our organizational work has been moving forward in the implementation of our strategic plan, the various committees will give short reports regarding the challenges (or threats) that they are facing, the opportunities in the work of the committee, what has been done up to this point in the work, and where we will be by December. With the mid-term elections coming up, it is important to connect as much as possible to the conditions that are developing and the challenges and opportunities developing from those conditions. At the same time, we will look for links between our different areas of work as to how they advance the development of the Latino and Latina Roundtable.
