Here is some information about upcoming events- 
 
1. Join PEOC and other organizations in a day of remembrance for Mr. Fernando Pedraza- Tuesday May 5th from 10 am-12 pm – 1682 W. Mission Blvd. in Pomona, CA. Fernando Pedraza was a jornalero and organizer who died on May 5th 2007 while advocating for day laborers’ rights in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. 

2.  Interested in economic change for our communities? Please join us for an evening of conversation about the wellbeing economy and ways to transform our local economy. Tuesday May 12th 2026. Register today! This event is being hosted by several community partners.

Rising for Justice and Human Rights Pilgimage

The “Justice and Human Rights Committee,” as part of building unity in these difficult times, will lead a pilgrimage march and cultural celebration on Saturday, April 25 – beginning at 9:30 am at the Pomona Valley Pride center (235 W. Mission Blvd) and ending with a collective Ohlone Pow Wow celebration at Tony Cerda Park (450 W. Grand Ave.).
