A memory today of our long-time organizer friend Roberto “Bobby” de la Cruz – whose example is with us in our daily organizing efforts
Our corazones are broken to hear of the passing of our brother Bobby de La Cruz. Roberto meant so much to all of us. He recently spoke in my class- and we spent time together at the Huerta del Valle celebration – and we had been communicating in the last few days on the elections – and as always – it was with that unceasing spirit of doing all that is possible for organizing our communities- alongside our communities – in their interest. He will be missed but his example will continue to live on in all of us who knew him and walked alongside of him. Bobby De la Cruz – Presente!
