This Saturday, August 23, is a Day of Action to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing our national parks, then use your voice to advocate on their behalf. With over 400 parks of various shapes and sizes around the country, our National Parks “preserve national and cultural heritage” and share our history with future generations. On this weekend’s Day of Action, there will be events around the country from the Tule Lake National Monument in California to the Stonewall National Monument in New York to the Valley Forge National Historical Park in Pennsylvania.
