Services today at Queen of Angels Church in Riverside for Father Patricio Guillen called “el cura del pueblo” from the pulpit for his life of giving, organizing, and sacrificing for our communities. With Danny Morales and Armando Navarro after and reminiscing on the many marches, actions, picket lines, strikes, conferences, and meetings that we were part of with Father Guillen over the years. There will be one more community-based celebration,ceremony, and “concierto del pueblo” — remembering the life and contributions of Father Guillen this next Friday, February 1 from 6:30-9 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Hope (5250 Central Ave.) in Riverside.
