This event is to raise money for M.E.Ch.A.; M.E.Ch.A. stands for Movimiento Estudiantil Chican@ de Aztlan. We are an organization that educates the community about their history and their culture. 50% of the money we raise will go towards scholarships for two of the M.E.Ch.A. board members, and the other 50% will go towards our efforts to better educate our raza about their history and culture by mentoring high school students, buying books that will empower our members, and participating in educational field trips. You can be a part of this too!!! Just show up to the event and sign up at our M.E.Ch.A. booth.
