LRT Bus and Registering your participation – 50th Anniversary of the ’65 Delano Grape Strike

The UFW will be holding a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Delano Grape Strike on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at forty acres (the original organizing site of this strike) in Delano.  We are working on getting a bus that can take about 45 people.  We are now taking names of those individuals who would be interested in going on a bus.  We will leave early in the morning of the 26th and return on the same day.  If you are interested in going on the bus, you must make a firm commitment and send an e-mail to Melissa Ayala at melissaayalalrt@gmail.com or call her at 909-450-7532 by Thursday, September 3 to save a place on the bus.  The first 45 persons to respond will be included.
