Pilgrimage March To Build Unity April 25 At 9:30am
The “Justice and Human Rights Committee,” as part of building unity in these difficult times, will lead a pilgrimage march and cultural celebration on Saturday, April 25 – beginning at 9:30 am at the Pomona Valley Pride center (235 W. Mission Blvd) and ending with a collective Ohlone Pow Wow celebration at Tony Cerda Park (450 W. Grand Ave.).
A Federal Judge Ruled That US Border Patrol Violated UFW v Noem Injunction
This ruling confirms what we’ve said: Border Patrol cannot round people up just because they are brown, speak Spanish & work hard. The court made clear the Border Patrol raid on day laborers in Sacramento, like their raid on farm workers near Bakersfield was unconstitutional.
