Northcape, San Dimas, CA 91773.   The membership dues for one year are $25.00 for individuals and $10.00 for students, retirees, and low income individuals.  Your dues help to sustain our organizing and advocacy efforts.  As a member you will be able to make decisions on the direction of the organization at our Latino and Latina Roundtable Retreat that will take place on Saturday, January 26th from 9:30 AM – 5 PM at the Pitzer College Broad Center, Room 208.

In the last year, we have been very active in organizing educational forums on immigrant rights and ballot initiatives; promoting citizenship/voter registration drives; supporting the efforts of dining hall, Wal Mart, and warehouse workers; supporting and organizing deferred action policy forums and clinics; lobbying on a local, state, and federal level; supporting efforts to ensure city funding for the Pomona day labor center; gathering petitions in support of  driver’s licenses and a pilot program to protect undocumented workers who pay state income taxes; and organizing the annual Cesar Chavez breakfast and Cesar Chavez Pilgrimage Walk.  Since these efforts are led by volunteers, the LRT continues to sustain its efforts with your membership dues and one annual fundraiser.  Please support our efforts by joining now.

Sincerely,

Jose Zapata Calderon
President of the Latino and Latina Roundtable of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley
