Congratulations! after 20 years of struggle undocumented immigrants will be able to apply for a driver’s license. Thanks to all who work hard to make a driver’s license for all a reality in CA. The  Pomona Habla Community Coalition has worked for five years to change the impound policy of the City of Pomona, now it is the time that the City of Pomona implement a moratorium on impounds for people that qualify to get a driver’s license under the new law. We will keep you posted on the next steps for this effort. On Monday the PEOC,  has organized testimonies on the impact of impounds during public comment. Please attend and support this important effort. In addition, several other issues, including, the waste transfer station  and important budget matters in support of the PEOC  will be discussed.
