The United Association for Labor Education is meeting in Los Angeles this week.  Today there will be a march and rally for worker and immigrant rights from 5 to 7 p.m., and a cultural night celebration at the Justice for Janitors Union Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Jose Calderon will be facilitating a workshop on “Mass Incarceration and Mass Deportation” (which will include Alvaro Huerta, UCLA and Devra Weber, UCR) at the Downtown Sheraton, 711 S. Hope Street.
