Pomona City Council Votes in favor of resolution denouncing tactics of intimidation

Big victory – Pomona City Council voted in favor of a resolution “denouncing tactics used to intimidate Pomona residents who are immigrants, people of color, Muslims, and people with disabilities and affirming the city’s commitment to safeguard the civil rights of all its residents.”  We will celebrate this victory and others throughout the year at the next Latino and Latina Roundtable membership on Saturday, December 17th at the Pitzer College Broad Center Room 208 (1050 N. Mills Ave.).  The celebration meeting will include tamales and drink.
