Corruption Of Global Capital

As reported by the NY Times today – the outright corruption of global capital does not stop with regime change as the Trump administration moves forward in the takeover of Venezuela’s oil industry by forming a partnership with Alejandro Betancourt, owner of NABEP oil company – which is being granted 100-year concessions to operate 17 oil fields in Venezuela. Betancourt is wanted for extradition and prosecution by Spain and Swiss authorities for money laundering – and has a long history of operating in the shadowy world of secretive oil deals, regime power struggles and multiple financial crime investigations. – at the core of transforming Venezuela from a sovereign nation into essentially a vassal state of the United States.
