Hi Dr. Calderon,
I wanted to update you regarding the outcome at the 10/15/2026 P&R Commission meeting. The Commission made a recommendation to City Council to rename Cesar Chavez Park to Si Se Puede Park.
In total, 5 Nomination forms were received – 3 for Si Se Puede Park, 1 for Victor Glover Park, and 1 for Eddie Cortez Park
I am aiming to place this Discussion Item on the 11/16/2026 City Council agenda.
