LRT Members – April Updates and Upcoming events -2025

Here are some updates for this month of April. We hope you can join us. Feel free to share about these events with your friends and family. 
 
Our most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and attended the 21st Annual Cesar Chavez Breakfast. We truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm. We are so grateful to the staff and volunteers who made it all possible. 
Upcoming events- 
1. Victim’s Rights Resource Fair- Friday April 11th 2025 from 3- 6 pm (Derby Room in Pomona)  2201 N. White Avenue, Pomona CA 91767
2. The Egg Hunt- Latino and Latina Roundtable will be at Palomares Park for the City of Pomona, Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday April 12th 2025 from 9am- 12 pm. (please see attachment) 
 
3. Immigrant Right Committee- April 17th 2025- 5:30 -6:30pm

4. The Pilgrimage – Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta Pilgrimage and Celebration. 

Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Tony Cerda Park in Pomona. This time frame includes setup and breakdown.

The day begins with a march from Pomona Valley Pride to Tony Cerda Park, where we walk in solidarity for human rights and immigrant rights in our communities. The march concludes with a celebration in which we recognize our Pilgrimage Scholarship recipients who led the march. Speakers, entertainment, and food vendors.
