The organizing work of ensuring that the case of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa is kept at the forefront — has certainly been helped with the mobilizing to obtain the support of the Pomona City Council. It is already being noted across borders. Here is an Article in La Jornada in Mexico City today on last night’s historic vote where all seven members of the Pomona city council voted in support of a resolution calling for an independent international investigation into the disappearance of the 43 students from Ayotzinapa and the prosecution and effective condemnation of those responsible at all levels, in line with international standards of justice.
