Great turn-out of supporters for Maria Elena Durazo for L A County Supervisor District 1 fundraiser with good food, spirited songs by Rosa Marta, passionate emceeing by Mark Ramos, moving presentation by Maria Elena, lots of interaction, good questions and comments from those attending, a surprise cake with Maria Elena’s photo, and the singing of De Colores in a circle (with lots of Si Se Puede’s and Viva Maria Elena chants at the end).
