Today, on the day he passed away, this memory appeared in fb today in better festive days – and now Remembering our compañero en la lucha Jesse Valenzuela and all the years of marching and advocating together for our communities. As long as I knew Jesse – he was there in every important march and action – even when his legs and his body were too tired to march – he found the way to be there – to be with us and our communities – to march for justicia, unidad, y igualdad. He was always the example of someone who humbly worked behind the scenes, always doing those little things of empowerment for our communities and expecting nothing in return. We will continue to organize as he did for justice and equity for all! Que Viva Jesse! Jesse Valenzuela- Presente!
