And as you know – reciprocally we are always there when you need us (a good example of bridges between our labor and community based coalitions). Thank you to Alondra for being at our meetings because, as we have learned, it is the journey getting to the destination, that often is the foundation of the results of the destination. Shame on some Democrat legislators in Colorado who made the difference in voting for this bill that “tells farmworkers that the rights they win can still be negotiated downward. It tells Latino and immigrant workers that their labor is essential, but their protections are still treated as conditional.
